Default LS1 Injectors

Hi everyone, I tried getting some help from the ls1tech forum, but got no response and was wondering if you guys could help me out.My brother is looking into purchasing a set of 42lb. injectors for his '01 Z28 and is not sure what to go with. What brand injectors would you guys recommend/are running? He's thinking about the Racetronix LS1/LS6 42 lb./hr. Fuel Injectors over at the Texas Speed website and was wondering if anyone has ran them and how have they been?
Here's the link for the injectors:

Thanks in advance.

He could save some money and pick up a set of the FMS 42Ib. green top injectors. These normally go fo $200-230 used. I like to use FAST fuel injectors on most of the cars i do. Never had a problem with them but many other brands will work good to.

Any reason he is looking for a 42Ib. injector? What is done to his car?

MS4 cam, PRC LS6 stage one heads, headers. We were told that upgrading to some 42lb. injectors would be the best thing to do, by the person that will be tuning the car.

By the way, when you say FMS do you mean the Ford motorsports injectors?

Yes i meant ford motorsports. I did some estimates on power and calculated that that setup would be ideal with 36Ib. injectors that are rated at 43.5 psi(most are). Those will flow 42 Ibs at the 60 psi of fuel pressure the ls1s have.

I'm going to look for those injectors. Thanks for taking the time to calculate everything. So I will look for the FMS 36lb. Injectors.

No problem. The FMS 36Ib injectors will work great in your brothers setup.
