Default Complete Column Lock Removal for a Track only Car

I searched the "Stickies" but found nothing about removal, only about the bypass.

I'm converting my '99 C5 to a track only car. I have completely removed the column lock assy and associated hardware.
I have HP Tuners and have gone in and set it for Column Lock "Not-Installed" and set the fuel cut off for 256mph. The car now runs regardless but......
The problem is I still get a "Service Column Lock" error on the DIC.

What have others done for track only cars?
Is there anyway to clear (and keep from returning) this error from the DIC?
I'm assuming I have to do something to the BCM but not sure what is the easiest cure.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated!

BCM is not seeing the "completed" signal that it wants back to its lock/unlock commands and hence puts up the errors in the DIC. The CLB is an electronic relay that takes the BCM signal that it receives and turns it around to the BCM as a completed signal to keep the BCM happy. Your other choices are to reset it every time you start the car or ignore it............
I just posted something similar. I have not problem reseting every time I start (would seem however one could fin the wires to the BCM and terminate them)...having said that, I would just like to remove the actuator for now.

Thanks! I guess I'll have to get my soldering iron out and a latching relay and go to work

In your case I would just push reset every time it pops up.
