I have read and understand that you'd need to re tune if you remove the screen inside the MAF, but I have not seen much feedback on if you need to re-tune after doing the flip tie mod. ???
Also if you do the flip tie, is it smarter to use the K&N opposed to a paper because of the possibility of getting wet or damp while driving in the rain? I know there isnt much difference between flow, but I have read the K&N does allow more dirt than a paper filter.
