Toyo tq's are what I'm running. They hook pretty dam good, even on the street. Mine are 315-35-18's. Pretty reasonably priced also.

the radial and radial 2 have the exact same construction. the only difference is the tread pattern.

Where did you get those? Are they Street friendly enough to be a dd? Also how did you pay? I've been considering these for some time now but haven't really seen too many people running them.

I bought mine from Tireclub, they sell on ebay. Just go there and punch in drag radial tires and you'll see there for sales on there. Good luck and they are very street friendly. I'm not planning on running mine on the street much, but, mostly at the track.

Id fine a nice CCW drag pack with some MTs that just has a few passes on her already for around $1500. So you can throw them on when ya want to Play or drag around town. And still have your other wheels/tires for traveling... Least thats what i do with mine. Picked my CCW pack up for $1400 with 26X11.50-16LT MT ET's on it a while back. Cuz even the ET street Radials II are not really all weather. and if your going to drop $700 or $800 bucks on just to tires alone. A pack might be an investment to which you can sell later on if you change things up anyhow.

17s hook better than 18s (16's are better if you can fit them) and Mickeys over BFG and Nitto by FAR. Never tried Hoosier but they make plenty of race slicks like Mickey so I am sure they are equivalent. If you have a stick shift I would recommend bias plys unless you want to drive on the street then get radials. If you have an auto just get radials.

The ET Street II's are new, at least to me, they didn't have them when I bought mine. The tread pattern and sizes are different. I use Z06 fronts on the back. The ET Street II don't have a good size for that set up, but it looks like it would be fine for an 18" rim.
