i purchased mine from ecklers.....like $80....i like a clean factory look and the ones i got there did the trick....go on with large hose clamps, which had me worried about looks as well as durability......not a problem with either (can't see the clamps, and i cannot pull them off, believe me i tried. they had 2 styles that were popular, i didn't have a clue and just ordered the most popular according to phone salesguy......i'm very pleased tho.
it took some time getting the 3 old ones off when i first bought my 98 a few months ago.....1st one came off like a charm....2nd little more tedious.....3rd have mercy, many dremel cutting wheels and much later.......course if i had or knew how to use a torch, prob 5 mins. once the old ones were off installation was a dream, one tip find a way to measure where the stock tips ended......i didn't want mine too far out or too recessed, type A++++, sorry
If you are still driving the 2000 Vert., you probably have no tips on the pipes now, which makes things a lot easier.
I installed the Corsa tips on my stock '04 exhaust tips and they came out great for around $100. Most of the name suppliers have them.
I had to grind off the spot welds on my stock tip covers which was a bit of a pain.
