I recently installed new FAST fuel rails including an Aeromotive fuel pressure guage on my '03 Z06. I used -6 for the feed off the factory rail and -8 for the crossover. I dont remember when I first installed it... but now the guage needle bounces around 55-60 psi at idle... I cant figure out why it is rapidly bouncing...
Any ideas? Could the guage be bad? Or just the oscillation of the fuel pump?

Could be injectors opening/closing. I assume the pressure is stable when the engine is not running.
yes... when the engine is not running, the guage is steady. The car runs fine too.... I just wouldnt have thought the needle would bounce around so much...

This is probably normal if you are using a mechanical gauge on the end of the rail. Maybe even with an electrical one if it is not damped.
