C5 Fluid temperatures
I would like to know what the typical temperature for oil and coolant in normal everyday driving. My father borrowed my car and said that it is running a little hot. Im used to turbo cars and those run at higher temps so I would not notice it on a n/a engine. I probably would get a thermostat for the vette.

Coolant temp should be around 190 when driving (stock thermostat) and get up to about 220 when sitting in traffic.
I see about 210 I think on tranny fluid when aggressive.

Engine oil temps: 205 - 210 normal driving
Engine coolant: 192 -200 normal driving but 230 on hot days sitting in traffic.
All values with stock thermostat.
