And are you certain you're inserting the CD correctly? (label up in head unit, label down in changer) Re-burned CD's or original?

Mine does this when it gets cold outside, in the 30's. Works again once it warms up some.

I had the same issue.
Follow my procedure on my web site to clean the laser.

Scroll down to procedure ---> C5 Corvette - CD Player Laser Cleaning Procedure
Follow my IPOD install procedure to get the CD player out of the car.
Hope this helps.

Same here. When I popped the disc out it was fogged over. Get everything a little warmer and it works fine.

I had that issue alot when I had the factory head unit. I kept the cleaning disc with at all times. With an aftermarket head unit I just use a flashdrive...no more issues!
