Latest issue of C&D has the newest upgrade from Lingenfelter for the C5.
Supercharger kit for $6400 ups stock C5 hp from 350 to 490 and torque from 375 to 480 :eek: Z06 goes to 530 hp!
Stats: 0-60= 3.7
0-100=7.7
0-150=17.9
1/4 mi=11.7@126 Not too shabby!
Loaded with a host of other goodies, (intake, exhaust,wheel tire package) it goes for an out the door price of $58,016 and includes the cost of the Millineum Yellow Coupe on which the install was done.
3 year 36,000 mile powertrain warranty available for $200. :)

2k, sounds good.........what if I told you there are TWO guy's that post REGULARLY on this forum, that bested the 3.7, 0-60, with 99% STOCK '01 Z's???
And, with the SAME Z's snagged 11.9's???.

I just read the article. $9K and a trip to Indiana for installation. For an additional $200 they throw in a 3 yr/36K warranty. This includes a new painted hood to fit over the SC.
With used low mileage C5's out there, someone could build a killer C5 for less than $36K or $37K right now. That's probably the best way to look at this.
