I just read the article. $9K and a trip to Indiana for installation. For an additional $200 they throw in a 3 yr/36K warranty. This includes a new painted hood to fit over the SC.
With used low mileage C5's out there, someone could build a killer C5 for less than $36K or $37K right now. That's probably the best way to look at this.

This is exactly why it's such a good deal. Before I bought my car I was almost ready to buy a Z06. For probably $8 to $10,000 less than a low mileage Z06 I got a C5 with under 4,000 miles on it and 100 horsepower more than a Z06.
