Default differences in early & late vette LS1s

Guy was selling a 2000 vette block and said that late 1999 and later LS1 engines had larger oil galleries than early ones. Also remember reading that later ones had different cams and exhaust manifolds. Any other changes? Also, difference between F body LS1s and vettes. Thanks

I believe they made that switch in '01. Which is why the '01 LS1 produced 350hp, instead of 345hp as the previous years.

I don't remember reading anything about block changes to the LS1 over the years. Not saying it didn't happen tho.

The change occurred in 2001, and LS1's and LS6's shared the same intake manifold.
