Within the past 1,000 or so miles, I've noticed a chirping noise that increases frequency with RPM coming from the drive side of the engine bay... unsure where specifically.
It kinda gets a little more audible as the car warms up. I did a search, and have seen the problem being diagnosed as anything from an idler pulley to PCV valve, to a bad lifter, to noisy rocker arms... so how can I check?

I had a chirping noise similar to what you describe and it turned out to be a worn out tensioner pulley on the accessory belt. Replaced it with a Dayco pulley and noise is gone. If I were you, I would remove the belts and verify the idler and tensioner pulleys for any noise or roughness.
