Targa Top??
Hey guys, just got my vette a few months ago so I'm still really new to, and learning about it.
Kind of random question but can somebody tell me exactly how the Targa top is supposed to be placed in the trunk area and if there are supposed to be things there to hold it in place? In my trunk it looks like there is supposed to be something there but I'm not sure.
A pic of how it should look with the Targa top placed in the trunk properly would be awesome.

Here ya go.
The two points closet to the front of the car are the the back of the top
The locks on the left and right are to lock the top into place
Once you put the top in and lock it the handles will be up
Locked in and ready to go

I'll try a combo of words and pictures
Open Hatch
Put the curved portion of the targa by your stomach
Take the two 'pins' on the targa and slide them into the two black ***** located on the floor of the hatch area of the vette - Picture below shows the one of two black ***** on floor of hatch area
Next picture shows how the targa looks from front seat
There are two spring loaded metal pins that are located on either side of the trunk latch - These slide into the holes in the targa top - Below is a picture of these metal pins
End results looks like this
