Default Misfire problem

I got some new Katech valve covers with the coil realocation kit, painted the intake manifold, and installed some billet fuel rails. I am not getting a misfire. I checked all the wires to make sure they are pushed on properly. I had someone hook up their laptop and the passenger side 02 sensor was showing a really rich condition. The guy that did this seems to think that the coil packs are not grounded out properly. Does this sound like a possibility or do you guys have any other suggestions?

The coils are grounded through the harness at G107 behind the drivers side head. Sounds like you have it isolated to a bank. I'd go over your work, checking the coil/injector harness....plug wires, etc.

Sorry about the typo. I am getting a misfire. What do you mean when you say G107?

If you can get ahold of an infrared thermometer, you can take the temp of each exhaust (on the exhaust manifold/headers close to the head), and it should show one or more with a much lower temp. That will show which cylinders are causing the misfire. Then check those wires, plugs etc.... If you cant get it from there, change one coil pack from a cylinder thats ok and check to see if that one is cooler. If not, change the wire and try again. then the plug if not.

Were there any other codes? You should have a misfire code as well, that should indicate which cylinders are misfiring.

G107 is the ground location(as listed in the service manual) at the rear of the drivers side head.......grounding the coil packs...

Are the coils getting a good ground?

Ok I found the problem. I had one of the coil pack harnesses flipped the wrong way or had it on the wrong side. Thanks for the suggestions guys.
