removed my front lowering bolt and my car makes a poping noise on low speed turns.i know its my spring rubbing on my control arm due to there not being a bolt there anymore. what are you guys putting in between there to kill the noise? thanks
PM? Do share the info publicly!! I will be lowering mine on stock bolts and might even remove the front ones. I'd like to know in advance of any possible issues. Thanks!

I turned these little insulator pads on a lathe from some nylon we had kicking around. The good thing with these is they won't work themselves free over time, and I could make different thicknesses for each side to level the car out. With that said, I've heard of people using thin, flat pieces of plastic like bondo applicators with good results. I've even heard of people using linoleum. Just bear in mind that when you go this low, the spring itself will start to rub against the arm. Very carefully smooth that area away with a dremel sanding cone, either on the spring or the arm.
