[QUOTE=nickwfd92;1573185981]Another vote for Craftsman, Go in and sign up for the craftsman club card(its free) and there are all kinds of discounts everymonth. I remember I bought a 400 piece tool set for like $250 new. This was like 8 years ago tho. I have a sears 1 mile away so its close to me if I need a tool quick. I have broken a few hand tools and I just walk in and tell the cleark and I get a new tool with no questions asked.
I also love SnapOn but they are really expensive.[/Q

Do they still have the craftsman club? I haven't received any flyers in the mail for years?

I just received my Craftsman Club sale catalog a few days ago and as usual they have great sales on hand tools and tool chests to keep them in. I have very rarely ever had problems breaking Craftsman tools when used properly and never had a problem with exchanging them. I did have a problem with a torque wrench that needed a repair because they don't tell you it doesn't have the Craftsman lifetime warranty until after it breaks. The only other time I was questioned on a replacement, I broke a 3/4" drive breaker bar. The saleman wanted to know how I broke it. I said that I thought you just replaced it, no questions asked. He said that was so, he was going to get me another one. He was just curious how I managed to do it. I declined to say. But just let's say it involved a rusted VW Beetle rear axle nut, a six foot pipe and a 220 lb. friend. The nut still won.
