Knock Sensor Redesign
I need to replace one of the two knock sensors on my 2002 C5 Z06. I broke the plastic part of it during removal.
Part numbers on these have changed due to an apparent redesign. Old design, which came on my carr is 10456603.
New part number is 12589867. It is referred to as a "redesign". Do I need to change both of the old knock sensors or can I just change the one that broke with the "redesign"? This would give me one of the old designs (original item - 10456603) and the new redesign (12589867). Is this okay?
