On 2002-Z06 3/7/02 tuesday 9:30 a.m.

Stock#'s w/2036 hard miles- pre-mod

H.P.=352.2
RWTQ=348.3
Flywheel H.P.=415.6
A/F=13.6@4800R.P.M


After Carbon T1 Sidewinder install


H.P.=369.9
RWTQ=360.9
Flywheel H.P.=436.5
A/F=12.9@4800R.P.M.

WTF is a T1?

I don't think you're talking about a Sway Bar or a Lunati Cam...
Normally Halltech is into filter mods.

Also, careful with underwater snorkels. I've seen more than 10 cars with blown hydrolocked engines here in S. Florida over the last 2 years. Florida and TX are 2 places you don't want to use a snorkel. 1 guy even blew his engine TWICE with a snorkel.

Ok. just playing a devil's advocate here. If the sidewinder isn't a bottom breather would almost any intake system e.g. just a halltech filter attached to the MAF be as GOOD? I mean it the same air and the same filter?

The carbon fiber tube does look good BUT will it cause any performance gain? I don't think so.


The sidewinder T-1 is not a bottom breather, no chance of hydrolock.
