Need to find out the correct order of pieces when installing to frame of car. Look at the picture and the bottom endlink.
From the left side:
nut, small spacer, a-arm, large spacer, endlink, bolt.
Is this correct? Do we really need the small spacer?

That looks funky to me!
But don't let me scare ya. I have no clue. But I don't remem my Z51 links looking like that!
My new Alum Z06 rear links should be here before too long.

Mine didn't have those spacers. Those might be new to get the sway bar away from the control arm.The T1's usually hit the arm all the time, that's the noise everyone bitches about.I just have learned to not hear it!!!Hope everything goes good with your install. You'll ove them when you are done!!!!

Re: T1 metal endlink installation help!!! (mhefner)
Mike,
The spacers are to allow the rod ends to misalign without binding. Is there a second small one for the top link? If the ball end reaches it's limit, it will bind, and increase the rate of the bar, as it binds, and make the car fell twitchy.
The main thing is that through the entire travel of the suspension, there is no interference between the ball and the end link, or the link and the bar.
Re: T1 metal endlink installation help!!! (LG Motorsports)
thanks Lou,
As I laid in bed this morning I started to think that it makes more sense for the spacers to be on either side of the endlink. The only thing weird is there are only 2 spacers per bolt and both are different sizes.
I did go ahead and tighten them as shown in the picture above but I'm going to move the small spacer to be between the bolt and endlink.
One thing I found interesting as I did drive it last night, I didn't hear ANY noise. Car felt extremely solid.
