Default Is this a problem?

I'm wanting to run 295/35/19 and 275/35/18 BFG KDW2 on my 02' Z06.
Stock rear height is 26.1'' the BFG's are 27'' And the fronts are stock 25.4'' and the BFG's are 25.6'' (should be ok on the fronts). But what im worried about is...
(a)The traction control problems?
(b)Speedo calibration being needed?

Does anyone see a problem here?
I was told that as long as the difference is less than 1&1/2 between the two you'll be ok? But yet tire rack will not guarantee fitment with these.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Tire rack sold a friend of mine 245's for a 9.5 rim and told them that was the recommended tire. It wasn't for a Corvette, ad oh yes it had a "stretched" look.

What I'm trying to say is I think you'll be ok.

Default BFG KDW Tires

I've been running the exact size tires that you are concerned about. I've had them on for over 3 years, no problems.

I have a question now. Do the 275's stick out on the front?

Not on a 17x9.5'' wheel. But the tire was notably taller than the 265/40/17. I didn't like it. I'm hoping sense this will be a 35 series, i'll be good.

I would have a 275/40/17.

Thanks 8Vette7 for your help, they said it's to tall 27'' vs 26.1".
I was also told in another thread the speedo is not calculated off the tires on a manual car?

Here's where I got that info...

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-z...er-wheels.html

My main concern is that I don't have any computer problems. The rears are almost 1'' taller than stock.

You're a 100% correct, but I love the tread design of the BFG's and more importantly the smooth sidewall so I don't sling tire dressing.LOL.
I guess I might have to go with the Hankooks, but even then I can't run the 305/30/19, the Spyders I bought are 19x10.
