Default Oil Pressure - Quick Question
Morning all,

After searching around, I can't seem to locate what the normal range for the oil pressure to be in the C5's. Mine is hitting around 40psi at cruising speed, and 30psi at idle. Is this a safe range to be in?

10psi/1K rpm's is the "old school" rule. so yea, that's plenty

yeah i can't imagine why you wouldn't think being in the dead middle of the gauges range while going down the road is abnormal.. but to each his own i suppose

Thanks. It was more of the idle drop in pressure to 30 that I was curious about, not the cruising speed pressure.

gotcha. 30 at idle is pretty good. i've seen less.
