ok I did the search thing and all but am looking on a install price. I have about 6-6500 to spend and was going to go heads/cam but just caught a thread about the ati and am interested. Do you get that cool butt whine from it when installed? Any other info I should have. Wheres their web sight. Already have all the bolt ons. Thanks for any help.
There is a whine at idle. http://www.procharger.com
6500 installed may be cutting it close due to ATI raising the cost of their kit.
if you have any other questions you can email me.
Call Nate at Extreme Motorsports. You may still be able to get the P-1SC for about $5490 shipped. There was a GP thread going about a week ago. You might also want to consider Cerra Racing for the install. 17 hours * $45.00/hour. This is the price I was quoted which includes keying the crank.
Mine should arrive in about 2 weeks.

The whine may vary. One local owner has hardly any whine at all and another does. ATI has changed that whine factor within the past year and its possible that some of the kits with the older whine are being shipped. But tahts what I hear and taht may be just a rumor. But I will say that getting the whine that you may expect or desire may not be guaranteed. I would call PROCHARGER and discuss this with them if the whine or no whine is important to you.
Cerra Racing is located in Colona, Illinois. The owner Mike Cerra owns and races a 2001 Z06 in autocross. His wife races a Cobra in a drag circuit. They are currently testing and dyno'ing several manufacturer headers for an article in Vette magazine. They do not do vettes exclusively. Inside, I've seen Roush Mustangs, Vipers, TA's, etc. I talked at length with Mike Cerra and feel confident that they are up to any task or mod I want done. I originally was looking for someone more local than DRM and others. Currently they have installed JBA shorties, Corsa X-pipe, and Corsa Pace car. They are an ATI vendor. I simply got a better price from Nate at Xtreme. I hope this info helps.
Give them a call, or better yet e-mail Mike Cerra from their Website. This time of year, they getting pretty booked up. Oh yeah, they can also get the new C5 Vortec kit for I believe for $6800. But, I think the intercooled ATI is better and cost less. They are a forum tuner. You can find them with all the other tuner links on this website
I hope this helps. :)
