It if it has already turned itself off you aren't enabling it. It rides on top of the base brakes and when it fails it does not affect the brakes. A simple but effective design.

I'm getting the same codes right now, I just did a cam swap and had disconnected the steering shaft, and active handling unit to move it out of the way to pull the crank pulley off. I have a feeling it has something to do with that steering sensor you guys are talking about.

Does anyone know what problems I could incur if vehicle is driven like this without being repaired for a while.
