Wiper Issues
I read some other threads, but wanted to get some opinions on whether I should purchase another wiper motor or not.
It's been raining alot here in Dallas, but I never use my wipers (I use Rain-x). Went to use my wipers and they worked for about 5 minutes, then got stuck in the up position, and then wouldn't go down.
Read some threads and decided to clean out the udders. Damn!!! I would guess they hadn't been cleaned since 98 when the car was new. They were full of crap, and everything was under water. Cleaned them out and am waiting for them to dry out I guess.
Do I need to puchase another motor? It rained yesterday, and I went to turn them on, and got nothing. I figured if let it dry out for a day or two I would be ok. But now I can't get them to go on at all. I read a tech bulletin that said that GM was having issues with the motor grounding. Could that be my issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
