Default Cove LED Blinker Wiring?

I'd like to have the LED's in my cove's remain off but flash with the blinkers. Can anyone tell me the best way to accomplish this?

You could just tap the front turn signals in the front too...

Doesn't that have them on with the DRL's though? I only want them on with the blinkers, off the rest of the time.

Default Try this

Tap into rear turn signal/brake LH & RH wires, that way they will also come on with the brake lights or turn signal for the correct side. I also have a second light strip in each cove that run with the tail lights. Thats two separate strips in each cove.

Great idea. Where is the best place to tap into? Kind of a PIA to route the wiring from back at the taillights.

Too funny. I was looking at my coves today after installing Race Mesh screens in them and thinking it would be cool to have LEDs in there to light up the cove and maybe light up the channel that runs from the cove down the doors. I know I've seen the coves lit up but I feel it's too importish if you know what I mean. But to have them light up as blinkers would be cool. Still not sure if I like the idea of them lighting up with the brakes. I don't want them lit up sitting at a stop light. I would want blinker only.
Where did you get your lighting? I plan on doing the rear vents as well but those will be both brake and flasher.

Depending on how you position the LEDs, you can get a subtle glow or an in a your face light that lights up the whole cove area. Here's the LEDs facing forward;

You can paint the engine block off panels silver also to get a glow thats a bit brighter then that.

I made my own panles like DIYguyshows on Oznium's site;
