Default AH Warming Up

I dropped the front cradle during a motor install. I now get the active handling warming up message. These are the codes.............

C1221 LF Wheel Speed Sensor Input Signal is 0
C1222 RF Wheel Speed Sensor Input Signal is 0

Did I damage something dropping the cradle? Is there a sensor I may have forgot to plug back in? What else could cause this?

I would check the plug right off the wheel hub and make sure it's connected good. Then follow that wire across the Lower control arm to the frame where it has another connector. Make sure it is a good connection. From there I am not sure where it goes but it shouldn't have another connector I wouldn't think.

These connectors are very prone to the male/female prongs inside the connector loosening and not making good connection. You can carefully using a pick or such bend the prongs out inside the connector for a tighter fit. Use care when connecting the plugs as they are a terrible design, IMO.

Take a look at the connector at the wheel bearing. I recently had my cradle lower to R&R the motor and somehow damaged the female pins. I don't even remember disconnecting it. The female side was driven all the way through the plastic connector. Bad news is a replacement lead is $75. It is wierd if you damaged both sides. Both sides run to the wire loom that is on the drivers side of the engine. Hopefully you didn't lower the cradle so far as to damage the wires at that point. It will be a pain to soder them up.

I think soldering them and heat shrinking them might be the BEST option!! Those connectors really are crappy design for so many of us to have had issues.

There are two connectors on each side of the front cradle that plug into the transmission harness that sits on the cradle.

You probably forgot to plug these in.

Jack up the car (front) pull tires and trace the speed sensor wire coming off the back of the wheel hub and make sure that they are plugged in.
