oil pressure question
i took my vette out for a spin this past weekend and i noticed that the oil pressure would jump as high as 72psi wanted to see if that was normal i dont recal it ever getting that high. i was pushing the car a little bit but it seemed high to me. can anyone tell me what the range of psi is for a c5 vette?

Check in the DIC and see what oil pressure you are showing. Typically when the sending unit is going it will go to 80psi and stay there and the DIC will show 130. Generally a good indication you need to replace the sending unit.
