I've never heard of an aftermarket one. You might try buying a stock shifter from someone who has installed an MGW shifter. They don't require the bushing.

Try posting up a wanted ad in the for sale section. I had one but helped somebody else out in your situation.

I don't believe that is what the OP is wanting. He is wanting the plastic cup that covers the bottom of the shifter shaft.

If someone would manufacture and sell the plastic ring for the oem shifter boot and the plastic bushing for the bottom of the shifter, they'd have a long line of customers waiting...

I have one lying at home attached to original shifter (I installed an MGW). If it comes off easy enough without breaking it I can mail it to you for nothing. I will be home early next week and take a look, I'll send you a message and get your address.

The Gear Box (on E-bay) sells a bronze shifter bushing. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but you could call them and get the details.

That looks like a bushing for the sliding rod. I dont think you could make the shifter cup bushing from anything but plastic as it snaps onto the bottom end of the shifter.

I did however tune my B&M shifter so it now works much better. I should have done a how-to for yall but was pressed for time.
The B&M has big orings between the part where the **** screws on and the shift lever itself for vibration isolation. Well after awhile these wear and shifting becomes very sloppy at best.. I was missing lots of shifts... not good on track.

So.. I removed orings and made a solid bushing out of PVC pipe and that took ALL the slop out of the shift arm itself.

For the sloppy plastic cup at the bottom I cut a piece of 1/8" rubber gaskit material about 1/2" or so in diameter and dropped it in the bottom of the cup and snapped it back on the shaft.. this removed most of the slop from that area. This is temporary at best as I am sure the cup will wear again but for now it works great!

No more missed shifts...

Knowing now the B&M has this isolation feature I would have avoided this shifter as vibration is not my concern...

Joe

And use grease on all moving parts..

Yep, you could do all that or just buy a MGW
