I noticed that EVERY time I push my *AC button (on the climate control unit), it just blinks at me a couple of times and then goes off. I never noticed this in warmer weather, so could the cold be causing it? Or should I have this looked at?
In most cases, the A/C unit comes on to reduce the humidity in the air this allows the air in the cabin to heat faster. When the light blinks, it means that you are trying to change it's normal process. Just let it do it's job it will go off when it meets it parameters!
If the outside temp is above 42, the a/c will come on automatically when the defroster is used to reduce humidity. You can turn off the defrost and then turn off the a/c. If you try to turn off the a/c before turning off the defroster, it will blink at you because it should be on.
If you want to turn it off you can select the mode for floor or AC outlets only (no defroster) and then turn off the AC. It shouldn't blink, and will stay off independent of outside temperature.
