hi everyone i just got my tax money and want to do some upgrades to my 2000 c5 . im looking to do a new clutch, headers, straight pipe and intake. not sure what to buy . i need alittle help on what works well. i have a stock c5. thanks steve
I would do a ls7 clutch setup unless you plan on making more than 550ish rwhp soon. If so then a monster stage three or a dual disk setup would be best. For headers and x pipe you can't go wrong with either Kooks, LG, or ARH. For the intake i would suggest Vararam.

Obviously with the aforementioned mods, you'll wanna get a good tune to get the most of it. If you are still running 2.73 gears in the rear end, change that out, too. I'm about to do mine and most here have said it's one of the best mods you can do.

Since you are that close to ECS I would stop by there and talk to Chris and he can help you out. I just had a set of AR headers installed with a tune there about three weeks ago and I love it! They are great to deal with.
thanks everyone for the help. i have a 6 speed so still dont no what gears i should do. i also do drive long distances so what would be a good size gear for me

You may get all kinds of ideas and opinions on here, but since you stated you need the use of a shop for installation and help you should call an expert on corvettes.
ECS has a very good reputation, is an expert corvette tuner and specialist. They will give you unbiased advice on what is best for your budget, and goals.
