Default New shifter boots

Got my new shift boots today and was wanting to know if anyone has had any experience installing them in a m6 car? The one for the shifter doesnt have the plastic ring attatched.

You need to use the original plastic ring that's in the car. After you pop the old boot and ring out of the console, pull the staples and then carefully pull the old boot away from the ring (it might be partially glued). I wrapped my new boot around the ring - it will be obvious how it gets positioned - then folded the leather around it and used a few drops of super glue to hold it in place.

The ebrake boot was a little trickier and kind of a pain as you have to remove the console. You will see the screws that hold the boot in place. Mine didn't come with the metal piece that secures it so I removed it from the old boot, folded the new one around it, and secured it with a few staples. Hope that helps.
