Help with Shifter
I am trying to remove the stock shifter but am having problems. That little metal pin that you pull out will not budge. Am I doing something wrong or missing a step???? I have read a few other posts and some of the Tech Tips and I follow the instructions but it still will not budge.

Hey Patches, from your install pic's it looks like you pushed the boot retaining ring under the colsole. Rather than stopping at the "lip" on the plastic ring.
