Security light comes on in tunnels
So here's a strange one for you..
My C5 has the SECURITY light come on whenever I drive into tunnels, every time, without fail. It also throws a B2723 code in the BCM.
Any ideas on this one?

Well it does have stock headlights still...
In all seriousness, I wonder if they have any radio widgets that would interfere with passlock? Does anyone know if it uses anything other than the dinky little resister in the key?

B2723 is for PASS-Key detection circuit. Maybe a bad ignition switch??

That could be something. The steel climber's clip I use as a key-chain, and the drainage grating at the tunnel entrances jostling the whole vehicle.
Odd that the rest of the bumps on Oahu's craptastic roads wouldnt cause it though.

Just a dumb thought, try covering the twilight sensor on the top of the dash pad and see if it happens again. If not, manually turn on/off your headlamp switch and check again for any correlation.
