Default Oil pressure gauge question

Okay you Vette guru's....

I just noticed my oil pressure gauge is pegged out at 80 psi.

Would you say the gauge went bad or is it the sending unit ?

Most likely the oil pressure sensor. You can read for hours if you do a search .........

Obviously not, if you are asking that question. Not giving you a hard time, but this is probably the most common problem, and most discussed topic on the this forum.

No i did.... just did a search for "oil sensor location" and came up with the same link you just posted.

Well hells bells.... If I have to go through all that trouble I may as well install my LS6 intake while I'm at it !

Thanks for you input and "helpful" replies. Looks like there's a Saturday project in my near future.
