TOTAL LUBRICANTS Tranny fluids
Hello everyone,
I am planning to do a transmission flush as my car approching 80k miles and the previous owner was not able to tell when the transmission has been serviced the last time. Does anybody here ever used the Total G3 Synthetic transmission fluid in their A4 C5? I am looking at the specs of both the Total and the Amsoil and the Total has a higher viscosity value than Amsoil. Is this good or not??

I guess I am just old fashoin, I have a problem with using "universal" fluids. I went with Dexron VI synthetic. GM recomends it & I read somewhere that it will run better than any other tranny fluid. It will run cooler, less breakdown in viscosity & has a longer life than Amsoil or RP.
