I change my MAF housing the other day and it was very simple. I put everything back together and took out for a test drive. But I got some trouble codes. Does anybody know why I'm getting the trouble codes? Did this happen to anybody else? What can I do? :cry
trouble codes:
10 PCM- P0113 c
10 PCM- P1111 c
Sorry, I cannot tell you the fix but I can tell you the code ?
the C at the end of each trouble code means current
P0113 - intake air temp. - Censor circuit high voltage
P1111 - intake air temp. - Censor circuit intermittent high voltage
I am sure this does not help but here you go................Sorry
I had exactly the same problem not too long ago. If left alone, the car will start shifting funny. (ie:real hard when shifting from park to drive if you have an auto). I delved into the IAT, only to find the wires on the IAT were frayed. I went to the dealer, and got the plug and a new set of wires for about 20 bucks. Turned out the IAT wasnt bad, just the wires. if your wires are OK, you can also just buy a new IAT. I think they are around 30 bucks at the dealer. Good luck
The IAT sensor is the intake air temperature sensor on your air bridge, aft of your MAF sensor. Check to make sure it's plugged in. ;) The wires don't seem to hold up to abuse well... Jiggle the wires a little and listen for changes in the idle quality. The fix kind of depends on what's wrong, but replacing the connector and a short segment of the wires is not uncommon.
