Default Trunk Won't Open

The trunk on my 99 vert won't open using the fob or the switch in the dash. The car was running in neutral (6spd) with the parking brake set. The tonnoue cover is closed and latched but the trunk still will not open.Using the owners manual I have not found where the fuse would be to check it.
Where is the fuse or where should I check?

Thanks, I see it now. I don't know why I could not see it before. I just thought I was reading the owners manual.
Thanks again. I'll check it this evening when I get home.

If the fuse doesnt work--take a screw driver and hammer--wedge the screw driver in and pull up hard--usually will give--good luck-

It healed itself. It now works with the fob or the dash button.
Sure am glad I did not have to use a screw driver to pry it open like bobby777 suggested.

When the car is running it will not let you open the trunk, fob or button. It "healed" it self because the car was turned off.
