Default Random P0410 Codes

Strange random code. Here's the short story... I fixed a small leak in the vacuum hose that is attached to the wiring harness under the battery, blew out the air pump lines next to the generator.

Checked the air pump --- its pumping good

Sprayed carb cleaner and WD40 into the pump lines and blew with compressor (up stream from pump).

Have been checking the a/c and heat vents inside...changing them around and re-directing the air flow. Really not much change...seems that all vents are open all the time no matter what I select.

The P0410 code comes and goes randomly. I clear it and in one example, I drove from Raleigh, NC to Orlando (400 miles) and no code till 10 miles from destination. Reset the code and drove home and no code at all. Then there are several small trips (lots of ignition starts and stops) no codes, until all of a sudden while driving several miles and car has reached operating temp...boom there's a check engine P0410 code. Any ideas? Or do I just have to start changing out the air handling actuators up by the firewall on either side of the motor?
Thanks Doug Belnap

Part of the problem lies within your post. You state " Really not much change...seems that all vents are open all the time no matter what I select".......which means you still have a vacuum leak. A vacuum leak also means the AIR solenoid is not able to port vacuum to the AIR pump valve; thus, both banks are affected....and the P0410 code.

Do a search.....this has been discussed often.
