Default HID light problems - no help w/ search

Anyone ever have a problem with their HID lights after they take their car out of storage?

I got my car out today and for some reason turned on the lights. When the lights came on, they were both blinking fast, one came on and stayed on, the other went out. I have a HID conversion for my low beams. I know they worked properly when I put the car away last fall.

Any Ideas?

Thanks,

Scott

This will happen on mine if the voltage is too low, like a strobing effect. What does your voltage meter show?

The voltage shows 13 with the car running. However, I turned the lights on with the car not running. It looks like the voltage is less with the car off.

I think I need to disconnect and reconnect the battery, will that help?

Run your car a little so your battery gets charged back up then try again.

Get the battery charge up to where it belongs first.

low voltage can cause all sorts of gremlins...
You should keep your Vette on a battery float charger while in storage
