Any marine supply or hardware store should carry the snap-head screws. I think you need the 5/8" long ones.
Use 7 of these instead of only the 3 in the front; 3 in the front and 2 in each wheel well. That way you don't need those expanding plug deals for the wheel wells. Just screw them into the existing retainer clips in all 7 locations. West Marine carries them.
The marine stores in my area didn't have the snap-screws. I found them at an upholstery shop, believe it or not. They had gobs of them. I put three under the nose and two in each wheel well. I kept the GM-supplied ones just in case, but why would anyone use them? They're too difficult to fiddle with, on account of having to get in there and remove the spring clips. I've used the bra for more than a year now, and it works great.

I was ready to get rid of the GM Bra due to the cheesey marine scews provided. They were too short and the junk things with rubber expansion would not fit the fender well holes.
The solution was to trash provided screws and use seven replacements obtined from Capitol City Upholstery Suppy [800-252-8021]. The replacements are just about the same size as the fender screw you have to remove and work PERFECT. They go in with no problem and really hold the fender parts. The GM vendor's junk really did not secure as they were too short.
The P/N is 1039332 Stainless Screw Stud #32 x 1 inch , made by VICAR - The box says Self Tapping Studs. They set me back $5 with sales tax.

As I recall the store was slammed with calls from forum members and refused to sell
them by mail. Make note of the part number and see if you can find a store in your area.
Good Luck....they are great and 10X better than the junk supplied with the bra
