Do not try to vacuum or brush it. it will damage the surface...
lift the hood, leave the liner in place
spray with a good degreasing cleaner
I use 3 parts water, 1 part Simple Green in a pump spray bottle
Spray thorughly.
Let it soak for 5 minutes
Rinse well with pressure washer on a broad fan setting or a a garden hose with an adjustable nozzle.
Leave the hood up and let it drip dry in the sun....
If this doesn't clean it, then pop out the black body clips, lay it on your driveway spray with several light coats of flat black paint from a rattle can. I used black BBQ paint becasue it have a higher heat resistance.
