Air pump differences
What is the difference in air pumps for a '99 and '01? I just noticed the air pump that was removed from my '01 Z06 to be put on my '99 frc has a different connector. Anybody have a pic of a '99 air pump so I can relate it to my '01. I may need to purchase a '99 air pump if it is different. I know I should just get rid of it all, but I want to have all the needed parts if I ever decide to sell. Also does the '99 pump have the small vacuum line coming from the pump like the '01 does?
'99 has the AIR Solenoid inside the AIR Pump motor housing, turned on by a relay in the Under Hood Electrical Center.

'01 has the AIR Solenoid seperated from the AIR pump, turned on directly from the PCM.

With a little rewiring, I'm pretty sure we could figure how to use either. Have you got Schematics for both, if not, let us know. Now, realize I don't have 2 pumps in front of me, never even had one off. Just going from a quick look at the 2 schematics, so take it with a grain of salt, ok?

Thanks! I may need to just purchase a '99 air pump for simplicity sakes. I don't have the schematics for both. I just know that I went to hook up the air pump from my salvaged Z06 over to my '99 FRC that didn't have one and the wiring connectors are different.
