Ok, for my first post on this forum I thought I'd try something different. My apologies to all of you stuck in the North waiting for spring to arrive to drive your vettes. Here in California we can drive them pretty much whenever...
Here's the problem. I recently bought a '99 coupe and it has dual climate control. It was a little warm in the car yesterday (again, sorry to all of you in the snow belt!) and I tried the A/C for the first time since I got the car. The driver side pumped out warm air but the passenger side cold air. I check both of the ***** for temperature and they were where they should be. I dialed the temp to maximum cold on the driver side and it made no difference. The passenger side got quite cold when the controls for that side were fully counterclockwise and even at the 12 o'clock position the passenger A/C was working fine?
Any ideas? Fortunately I still have some warranty left but I'd rather not deal with the dealer.
dude had that problem last year on my 97 .It was a module part cost
about $130 minus discount from Fitchner Chevy.Labor was I think about
hour half from local Chevy dealer.P.S beaucoup cold air was coming
from other vents. :troll :troll :troll :troll :troll :troll :troll :troll :troll

I am not certain if this applies to your situation; howevr, my friend recently bought a new Jeep Cherokee. When he tried to use the AC, the fan was on, but no air was coming from the vents. Problem: The ducting for the AC and heating was not installed in the car. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....
I would really go to the dealer on this one especially if you are close to the end of your warranty. If you have an ongoing problem with the A/C you will want them to stand behind it!
