Default Changing the front cradle with the engine already out?

How hard is it to change the front cradle with the engine already out? Are there any tricks or complications I need to look out for.

With the motor out...... Its a piece of cake. Theres nothing to it at all. Depending on the year, you have 1 brake line that runs underneith the steering rack, on the drivers side, so when you pull the cradle, you need to make sure you get that out from under it.

If the rack is already out, its a matter of a few bolts..

I'm hoping it's easy. I have the motor out and almost everything out of the way. I'm going to need to support the AC condensor and remove the leaf springs.

The ac condenser is racked into the radiator and they will usually come out as a unit, unless you just pulled out the radiator when you pulled the motor. The condenser should be supported by the front brace frame that holds the radiator. As far as the leaf springs, are you going to be putting in coilovers? Because that is pretty much the only reason that you would need to take it out.

I need to install the leaf springs to the new front cradle.

May I ask, what's wrong with your cradle that requires removing it?

I've already purchased new Pfadt motor mounts.
