NOS question/Another way?
I see a lot of C5 owners are using NOS now and I have though about it but from the “old school” NOS systems that I remember, they create a TON of HP but kills the motor. Is this still the case?
Is there a better way to go for lager HP increase and daily drivability?

Old = antiquated...in any form. The new wet kits are of the same design philosophy as the kits of the past. The difference is the nitrous components and our engine management systems are much better. As long as the A:F is right and the engine can handle all of the added cylinder pressure everything is gonna be fine. I know of more than one C5 owner who's pushing over 250 HP of nitrous with the proper combination...strong engine and capable fuel system.
For the money nitrous can't be beat but boost is boost. If I had the money I'd go turbocharged.
