Have you verified with a mechanical gauge?
Did you inspect the wiring yet? A bad ground to the OPS will cause this indication.

If they are not useing the brass one it will keep going bad. It also has to be torqued just right. I torqued mine to right at 15 ft lbs when I installed it a month or so ago and no problem. I also used a brass borge warner one from Oreilly auto part.
Well after using the aluminum one and it lasting a day 3 times in a row then swapping to the brass borge warner and its been in for a month or longer It definetly seems like a problem with the aluminum ones.
I installed an aluminum one a few months ago, not a problem!
Maybe I just had bad luck with them. Each one failed after the first time of driveing the car and it was the same thing. The gauge would peg even with the engine not running.
