Default window toe-in tool req.

Hi
I've been trying to adjust the toe-in of my drivers side window for some time. The GM manual calls out a #6 inverted torx wrench as the only tool required. It is obvious that other tools are necessary, but my main problem is that I can't find a torx wrench that small anywhere. If anyone out there done this fix can tell me where to go to buy the wrench (and maybe give some clues as to procedure - the manual is not that great) I would really appreciate it!

Thanks...

What you actually want is a socket in that size to go on your socket wrench. The regular #6 torx is easy to find, but the inverted one is a trick (it's female rather than male). I found one at a neighborhood hardware store, but they are hard to find.

I had the same problem trying to find #6 inverted torx. Someone else suggested a 5/32 socket and it works great to turn the adjustment bolt. All you need is a #10mm socket an extention and the 5/32 socket. Very easy even I did it with out breaking anything.

I found mine at AutoZone. It shouldn't be too hard to find. I believe that the shop manuals give you a pretty good idea as to adjustments. Just do it a quarter of a turn at a time. :yesnod:

Thanks everybody. I'll try the 5/32.
