turn the lights on so that they flip up. there are 2 Torx screws in the back which you can see when the hood is open, there are also 2 Torx screws on the side of the headlight, one on each side. you can loosen the screws to adjust the placement of the light covers.

I just had my right cover off the other day, and noticed that you can adjust any of the corners essentially up or down to get an even looking fit. However, I don't see how you can move side to side. Perhaps by moving the whole headlight assembly first a bit, then adjusting the lid to suite may work.

The black plastic piece that the cover screws unto provides for lateral adjustments... It's really a PITA as you have to replace the cover to see if it's right, then remove it again to make another small adjustment again ect. I have one off a little and played with it for about an hour before I felt like throwing the screw driver and retreated...

I'll go it again when I have more time and patience!

tstar is absolutely correct in his assessment, it's a total pain in the a$$ and will try a saint's patience!
Now here's a little trick I did and it worked for me, I loosened all the adjustment screws and just snug ed them up until I could put the cover back on and move it around.
It will move in all directions so be careful, when I got to where I thought it was good I removed the cover and tightened up all the screws.
Well it did take a couple of times but it sure beat the crap out of R&R the cover to make 1 adjustment at a time.
Of course then you will have to adjust the height of all 4 corners because they will be off after aligning it around the sides.
