Default What happened?

Just got a used '99 vert. The previous owner installed a Halltech cold air induction and Corsa Indy exhaust. I was driving along when suddenly the alarm bells started chiming and the driver info center started listing "Traction system trouble, Active system trouble, reduced engine power." I was in limp-home mode and not able to go over 15mph.
When I got it home into the garage, I shut it down. I started it back up in 15 minutes and everything ran fine except the check engine light was on. I shut it back off and waited a half hour and restarted. Now the engine runs perfectly and the check engine light is no longer on. It's like nothing ever happened.
Any ideas?

Without a thorough evaluation it's impossible to tell what was wrong, but you can be sure that this event left codes behind. So, find out what those codes are and go from there. I recently had a similar Active Handeling problem while driving on the track in Competition Mode, and I simply turned off the Active Handeling and Immediately solved my problem. My event tells me my Yaw sensor is faulty, so I's off to the dealer to get it replaced under warranty. Hope your problem is that simple.
