Will c6 offset wheels fit a c5? 18x8.5 and 19x10?
Im looking at buying a set of wheels for my c5 and the guy said they are c6 offest and the wheels are 18x8.5 front and 19x10 rear. I just want to make sure they fit before buying them. The offset on the wheels are +56 front and +79 rear.

C6 wheels will fit on most C5s. However, due to the different rear offsets, the rear wheels will set rather close to the inner rear wheel wells. Some C5s will require a 1/4 inch spacer to provide the necessary clearance. You should probably try installing the rear C6 wheels on your car to check the clearance. No problem with the front wheels.

Correct.
My car with C6 wheels and no spacers.
Someone will probably tell you that the rear wheels will look funny since they will set in further in the wheel well. However, since the wheels and tires are wider, they will not look that much different.
Rear C6 wheel on my C5.

All pictures are of wheels with no spacers.
