help, my vette is confused :(
She started acting up yesterday- I took the key out after I parked and I noticed right away the doors didnt auto unlock. So I unlocked/opened the door and the dummy bell starts going off like I left the lights on. Well I checked, and they're not on, but the security light on the dash was flashing. When I put the key back in the ignition or close the door it stops beeping, but as soon as the key goes in, it starts beeping again. My guess is an ignition switch or the resistor contact on the key went bad, but it would be interesting to hear from anyone who has had this problem so I could save a little time/money at the dealership. Anyone?
